One's own home should be a healthy place of well-being where one can live, love and work. No matter what the apartment looks like - it should definitely be furnished in a healthy and sustainable way. Consumers nowadays choose eco-friendly furniture, preferably made without plastic or toxic additives.
Part 6: Backrest and cushions
Seeing a piece of furniture come to life is a wonderful moment each time. We know that the piece of furniture will live in your home and will accompany you for a long time. I will be of highest quality and also feature only natural materials, no plastic, no toxins, no harmful materials or chemicals. We pride ourselves in carefully selecting materials only from trustworthy sources and being able to build an eco-sustainable piece of furniture that will bring joy to any customer and their home.
Part 5: Inside and outside cover
Building a sustainable piece of furniture takes experience, craftsmanship and in our case: an extra dose of 100% natural materials from only sustainable sources. We chose to build furniture only in this way, because we believe that we should not live with, or sit and sleep on anything that is built using harmful materials. Harmful for nature, our environment or our own health.
About two thirds of the earth's surface is covered by oceans. If you calculate in three-dimensional space and add the volume at depth, they even take up 90% of the total living space on earth. While we can get a good impression of the flora and fauna of the coastal areas by diving and snorkelling ourselves, only a fraction of the dark deep sea has been explored, estimated to be no more than 5%. But even here the human being has already left traces in the form of microplastics.
Part 4: Cotton, felt and latex
100% natural latex. On top of the jute material on the seating area, but also for the armrests and all around we are now applying a layer of 100% natural latex. The latex is delivered in large blocks and we cut it down to the needed sizes in the correct height and length using our large scale vertical saw. This process takes experience and craftsmanship, as the material is very soft and any push or pull in the wrong direction will result in an uneven cut.
